From its inception, Robert L. Tyler has been integral to brining the vision of UHWG to fruition. His tireless efforts from Tallahassee to Opa-Locka connected several resources that moved the project forward. Mr. Tyler has over two decades of experience in professional management services. He is the President of IGWT Construction, Inc., a provider of a broad range of construction services.

He is among the nation’s most experienced African-American executives in the construction industry. Throughout his career, he has been recognized in several national publications including Engineering News Record and a cover feature of Black Enterprises Magazine. His experience has seen him tackle a number of large scale projects from airports to theme parks to medical centers. His results have earned him a reputation for cutting costs and improving efficiency.
